Holistic physiotherapy

In holistic physiotherapy, the body and mind are not treated as separate entities.

I combine manual therapy, psychophysical approaches, and brief therapeutic methods to help ease both physical tension and mental strain.

The goal is to relieve pain, release tension, and support you in moving toward a greater sense of calm, balance, and overall well-being.

Brief therapy

Brief Therapy

In brief therapy, we take time to focus on what is weighing on your mind right now.

Together, we work with your thoughts, emotions, and bodily experiences in a gentle and practical way.

You will gain tools to ease mental and physical stress, reduce anxiety, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself. The goal is to support your well-being, strengthen your inner resources, and help you navigate life's challenges with greater clarity and balance.

Maternity physiotherapy

Support throughout pregnancy and the postpartum period – with care for both body and mind.

I help relieve pain, support recovery, and strengthen your connection with your body during this time of change.

You are welcome to book an appointment at any stage of pregnancy or after childbirth.

Pelvic floor physiotherapy

Pelvic floor symptoms are influenced not only by the muscles themselves, but also by breathing patterns, the state of the nervous system, and tension throughout the body.

I help you strengthen and relax your pelvic floor in a safe and supportive way.

Support is available for issues such as pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, prolapse symptoms, scar tissue treatment, and symptoms related to menopause.

Pregnancy, baby and postpartum massage

Pregnancy massage, postpartum massage, baby massage, and classical massage.

Each treatment is designed to support relaxation, recovery, and overall well-being for both body and mind.

Whether you are pregnant, recovering after birth, navigating life with a baby, or simply seeking relief from everyday stress and tension, treatments are tailored to your individual needs.

Birth stimulation treatment

A gentle treatment to support your body and mind in preparing for birth.

This treatment works with reflexology points on the ears, hands, and feet to support the body’s natural readiness for labour.

It helps prepare the uterus and cervix for birth and encourages the body’s natural processes as you approach delivery.

The treatment can be received from 38+0 weeks of pregnancy onwards.

TMJ physiotherapy

A TMJ (temporomandibular joint) treatment addressing the chewing muscles, jaw joints, and the face, neck, and chest areas.

In addition to the chewing muscles, the treatment also addresses tension in the neck, cervical region, and chest, which can influence jaw function and related symptoms.

The treatment may help with, for example, teeth grinding (bruxism), jaw tension, pain in the face and neck area, temporomandibular joint dysfunction, and headaches.

Craniosacral therapy

A gentle and holistic form of treatment that supports the body’s natural balance and ability to recover.

The therapy uses light touch to help release tension in the tissues.

Craniosacral therapy may help with, for example, stress, overload, headaches, tension in the neck and shoulders, sleep difficulties, and various pain and tension conditions.

The treatment is suitable for people of all ages.

What Clients Say

Babymassage

"Janna welcomed us very warmly and treated our baby with great gentleness. Our baby clearly enjoyed the massages, and the treatments helped wonderfully with areas of tightness. Our baby’s overall demeanor became more relaxed, and we noticed a clear improvement in their posture when lying on their tummy. Overall, it was a very positive experience. We highly recommend it!"
- Ea P.

Babymassage

"Our experience with baby massage was absolutely perfect! Our baby favored only one side, and the reason became clear during the first baby massage session: one side of the upper body was clearly tight. Already after the first massage session, the results were obvious—our baby started using both sides and was clearly more relaxed. Now, after two sessions, I can only recommend baby massage with Janna to all babies. Highly skilled and professional care that put a mother’s worries at ease.”

- Hanna Puohiniemi

Brief therapy

“I have been positively surprised by how well this remote therapy has worked. You read and listen to me extremely well even from a distance and notice a lot, even though we are not in the same physical space. It has been impressive to experience how well one can feel seen and heard even in remote sessions.”
– Matilda

Prenatal Physiotherapy

“From Janna’s maternity physiotherapy, I received help with the pelvic girdle pain that came with the end of pregnancy, and especially with pelvic floor tightness. Janna assessed my situation in a holistic way, carried out each treatment with great professionalism and care, and also gave me good home exercises. Thanks to this, my condition is now completely different from what it was just over a month ago! I now feel confident and positive about going into labour. Thank you, Janna!”
– Violetta Varo

Pelvic floor physiotherapy

“Janna is an excellent professional. Her treatment was very important for my postpartum recovery, and I always felt supported and comfortable during the process.

It was also wonderful to be able to speak in Spanish, which made every visit feel warm and easy. Highly recommended!”

- Caro Valdez

Brief therapy

“I am able to interrupt negativity earlier in situations that used to feel anxiety-provoking. I observe myself more, and I am kinder and more appreciative toward myself. I have gained tools for a more positive outlook on life. My excitement and positivity toward change are visible. I have found myself and my creativity again, and regained access to it.”
